Lettuces and Space

A lovely thought from Eve http://everd.wordpress.com/

“I learnt that although it’s hard to thin out my lettuce seedlings, I know in the end I’ll get better plants.  I guess we all need our own space.”

I would consider that anyone who does gardening would agree that the way to get a better crop is to thin out the seedlings. This is true of carrots also. The big thing is that by taking the time to do this, we end up with a much better harvest at the end. Maybe we’ve compartementalized too much since we don’t seem to make those connections like people use to do.

I find that if I put aside time to think and reflect it helps with creativity and making connections (even if some of these are a bit obscure)
